Today is Mallory's birthday!
She is 11 years old.

Mallory is out of surgery.
Kim said the Doctor said it went well. She is still sleeping.

She is in pre op now preparing for surgery on Friday. It is Strabismus surgery to correct 4th nerve palsy (weakened eye muscle due to cranial trauma) in the right eye which causes her eye to "float up", doub(2/3) vision, depth perception problems, held tilting, difficulty holding eye open (squinting), sensitivity to sun/bright light. This should be short 1hr outpatient surgery under general anesthesia. She will be in minor pain and under restricted activity for about a week.
