When someone has offended, betrayed, or hurt us, the call to forgive can raise painful questions. Does forgiveness mean my pain does not matter? Does it excuse what happened? What about justice? In this Food for the Heart presentation, Marilyn Ravina will invite us to take a deeper look at forgiveness through the lens of Christ, the cross, and the Great Controversy. Together, we’ll consider how God opens a gateway for restoration, healing, and life, even when the path forward feels difficult.

Marilyn speaks to those who feel stuck in pain, trying to reconcile experiences that seem unforgivable, hurtful, or hard to navigate. She will share how forgiveness does not condone wrong, minimize suffering, or erase the need for wisdom and boundaries. Instead, forgiveness can create a new pathway toward inner peace, lasting change, and freedom from isolation. Through grace, God can help us move from woundedness toward restoration.

She enjoys building friendships, creating healthy bonds, gardening, singing, playing guitar, writing reflective essays, and spending time with her grandchildren and her cheerful puppy.
