If you bought a home in 2025 and it’s your primary residence, you may qualify for Florida’s Homestead Exemption — but you have to file by March 1st, 2026.

• Saves up to $50,000 off your assessed value
• Automatically renews each year once approved

• You owned and lived in the home as of January 1, 2026
