How We Started NEBIBO: From Beach Life to Amazon FBA, Business Mistakes, and Shark Snorkels

This is the real story of how NEBIBO began.

Before the shark snorkel, before the children’s books, and before we had any real idea what we were doing, we were living on a beach in the Dominican Republic, trying to figure out how to build a business that could move with us.

My wife wanted a beach clothing store. I wanted freedom. Then we moved to Bahrain, bought an expensive Amazon FBA course, flew to Australia, joined a global entrepreneur mastermind, launched products that made no money, argued constantly, learned the hard way, and slowly built the foundation for what became NEBIBO.

This video is the start of a series about the real side of building an e commerce business with your spouse. No fake guru talk. No overnight success story. Just the actual lessons, mistakes, supplier problems, patents, trademarks, molds, samples, tariffs, warehousing, quality control, and everything we wish we had understood earlier.

We will also share how NEBIBO grew into a kids shark snorkel brand and later expanded into NEBIBO Ocean Explorers, our educational children’s book series designed to inspire kids to love the ocean.
