Follow this step-by-step guide to delete evictions!

1️⃣ Check Your Starting Point: Pull Your Credit Report 📊
Start by pulling your credit report to identify if the eviction is listed. Knowledge is power! Click here to grab your 3 reports and FICO scores

2️⃣ Eviction on Credit? Time to Dispute! 📝
If the eviction is on your credit report, dispute it just like you would with a collection account.

3️⃣ Can't find your eviction?
If the eviction isn't on your credit report, take a proactive step by applying for the apartment you have your eye on or go back to the apartment that denied you and review your adverse letter!

4️⃣ Request the Secondary Bureau Report 📑
If denied, request the credit report that flagged the eviction from the secondary bureau used by the apartment company.

5️⃣ Dispute with the Secondary Credit reporting agencies:
Challenge the accuracy of the eviction directly with the secondary bureau(s) See previous post for full list of secondary credit reporting agencies!

6️⃣ Patience is Key: Wait for Deletion ⏳
Allow time for the dispute process.

7️⃣ Double-Check with Credit Bureaus 🔄
After you receive your deletion, challenge the eviction with the major credit bureaus to ensure it's wiped clean. (If reporting with the big three)
