Made it up to Beeding Hill for sunset — this stretch of the South Downs Way sits right on the chalk ridge, so you get the whole Adur valley laid out below. The grass is chest-high this time of year, gold and dry, and there’s a scrubby line of hilltop that they call Truleigh Hill just along the ridge from where I was stood. A friend and I enjoyed a relaxing and much-needed sound bath session there 🌼🙌☺️

I watched the sun drop behind the haze and it was a still, beautiful moment.

What’s the view like where you are tonight?

Tonight…
Finn: “Let’s play a game, I’m gonna think of a number between 1 and 1000 and you try to guess it, each time you guess I will say lower or higher to help you with your next guess”
Me: “Ok…55”
Finn: “WHAT???! Oh my gosh, how did you know that!?!”
Me: “No WAY!!? Was that the number!?!?!”
Finn: “YEAH!!! What!?!!! This is mad! How did you know???”
Me: “Oh…wow, I don’t know…wait, was it really? Or are you joking?”
Finn: “No, seriously. That was it. That’s crazy, I don’t know how you did that!!”
Me: “No way, wow…when you walked in, it was nuts, it was like I just saw the number in my mind. Like 55. It was just there so clearly. Oh my gosh…that’s mad…out of all the numbers it could have been, I got it”
Finn: “Yeah, that’s CRAZY!!”
Me: “🤔 But see, I told you I was psychic…oh my gosh, that was my psychic skills…transmitting the number to my mind. I think we have that psychic connection, because you’re my son…I can’t believe it…”
Finn: “…that wasn’t actually my number”
