The new Biden administration is committed to keeping the DACA program. It is a great benefit. You have permission to work and stay in the USA. We have helped people who missed out on the DACA program to receive the benefit as a new applicant. A person had to enter the USA before age 16, and have continuous residence in the USA before June 15, 2007. One young lady missed out because she did not finish high school. She was able to receive DACA now as a new applicant by enrolling in an adult education program to complete her high school.

DACA is great because it may allow you to ask for permission to leave the USA and return to your birth country for a short visit. Then, you may be able to become a lawful permanent resident through a family or work visa. And you may not need to go out of the country for your interview in a consulate, and then wait for a waiver to be granted before you re-enter the USA. Unfortunately, some people who go to their interviews in the consulates are punished for their unlawful presence in the USA.
