There seems to be a rumor going around that the due date for the 2021 County/Township tax bill has been extended. IT HAS NOT.
It was extended in 2020 but it has not been in 2021.
The due date to take advantage of the 2% discount is March 31, 2021. The actual due date for the tax bill (at the Face amount) is June 1, 2021. After June 1st, a 10% penalty will be added to any unpaid 2021 C/T bills.

This is important information regarding Sheriff Sales.
Foreclosure Sales Delayed to October, Move Online - The Post Some legal actions against property owners have been delayed to Aug. 31. Montgomery County's sheriff plans to resume foreclosure sales Oct. 28.
This year, July 4th (the legal public holiday for Independence Day) falls on a Saturday. Post Offices will be closed and there will be no mail or package deliveries.
The tax bills for the School District of Springfield Township are scheduled to be mailed on or about July 1st and therefore should arrive in mailboxes later this week. Saturday is a mail holiday, so if it doesn't arrive by Friday, you should get it early next week.
