Oregon Splash Pad

It’s time for an update on the Oregon Splash Pad!

Together with amazing community support, we’ve raised a total of $775,000 to construct the Oregon Splash Pad! This includes contributions from more than 450 community members and businesses, along with five grant awards. We are currently awaiting funds from one final grant and authority from the DNR to sign construction contracts. The Splash Pad team is also working behind the scenes to finalize the engineering specifications to meet State and Village requirements. Once officially approved, we will begin the bidding process, which is expected to occur mid to late summer. The construction could begin as early as fall, and we’ll keep you updated on the timing.

The Oregon Splash Pad will be located on the west side of the Oregon pool and will span approximately 6,000 square feet, including both water features and shade structures. It will feature water zones designed to entertain children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. A shade structure will be available for families to relax, while a garden and “history walk” will provide educational opportunities for visitors.
