Today is **World Bicycle Day**, and the Oregon Police Division encourages everyone to get outside, enjoy the ride, and stay safe while doing it!

Whether you’re biking to work, cruising through the neighborhood, or hitting the local trails, remember these important safety tips:
🚴 Wear a helmet every ride
🚴 Obey all traffic laws and signals
🚴 Ride in the same direction as traffic
🚴 Stay visible — especially at dusk or dawn
🚴 Put distractions away and stay alert

Drivers, please remember to share the road and give bicyclists plenty of space when passing. A little patience goes a long way in keeping everyone safe.
