The doctor looked at Sharlon and delivered the news no mother ever wants to hear: Her baby girl would not live through the night.
But Sharlon knew where to turn. She went straight to the hospital chapel. She cried out, she begged God for mercy, and she prayed for her baby girl to live, despite what the doctors said.
At first, they didn’t see any change. But she made it through the night. Then, the healing began. She got better! 🙌🏾 That was GOD answering a desperate mother's prayer!

How do you keep going when it feels like the world has been against you since day one? This is Kathryn’s story, and it is a breathtaking testament to God’s preserving grace and the power of His presence. 👇
Kathryn grew up in a chaotic, abusive home. From just four months old, she experienced things no child ever should. She became the scapegoat for her family, bearing the heavy weight of everyone else's struggles.
As she entered adulthood, the heartbreak only continued. Her journey from 18 onwards was filled with trauma—enduring abusive relationships, witnessing death, suffering physical beatings, losing her children, and facing false accusations.
It is the kind of pain that would leave anyone bitter, cynical, or unforgiving. But God had a different ending for Kathryn’s story. He was with her through it all, keeping her heart soft and her spirit fighting. Then, in her darkest season, she had a life-changing encounter:
"God came to me one night and put His hand on my shoulder. When I woke up, I sensed Him telling me, ‘I’ve got your back… I am here with you.’ Now, knowing that God is with me, I have surrendered my life, my dreams, my goals, my family, and friends to Him, my blessed Savior."
What a beautiful reminder that no matter how deep the trauma or how fierce the storm, the Lord is standing right beside us, holding us together!
