Fellow Alexandria High School Alum Moira Mulroney was one of the early people that I met when my family arrive into the US from Taiwan.

Unfortunately, the last time I spoke to her was about 20 years ago, when we were both in Chicago.

In the aftermath of Anthony Bourdain's tragic death, numerous details began to emerge about his manic-depressive personality. On multiple occasions within his show "Parts Unknown", he joked about depression and taking his own life.

And while at the time, we simply took these statements as over the top ... we know now that he was, in most cases, not joking.
