They say a man is only as good as his word. Well if that's true Ty Stokes is undoubtedly a good man because he always delivered on his word. When he said he would do something, he always followed through with it. It's time now to congratulate him for taking on the challenge. Welcome to a winning team, and I know you will only make the team better. Ty enlisted as an Ammunition Specialist (89B) and is now on his way to complete training. We need men like him in our ranks without a doubt. Shout out to all the 2019 Lake Marion High graduates! That class has represented in a huge way. Congratulations again Ty. Another Soldier in the making.

From Marine to Soldier! Congratulations to Terryon Middleton for joining the winning team! After realizing that the Marines was not for him he quickly started taking steps to secure his future in the Army. Middleton joined the Army as an 88M - Motor Transportation Operator. He has shipped to off to basic training and is now on his way to success. He will be an outstanding Soldier and I’m happy that the Orangeburg Army Recruiting Station got the opportunity to help him achieve his goal of joining the Army. Congratulations again.

Wow! Talk about a young man with the will to win. Caleb Smoak is the example of just that. Even though he is perfectly healthy he had to overcome many challenges to join the Army and he did just that. Against all odds Caleb stayed focused on his dream to be a Soldier and he had beat all odds. I know the Army is better with him in the ranks. The job he selected is 12B - Combat Engineer. Some of his benefits include a $9,000 bonus, choice of training, money for school, and much more! Congratulations on joining a winning team.

Congratulations to Nicholas Antley for joining the winning team! He has now shipped to training and is now on his way to becoming an U.S. Army Soldier. The job Nicholas selected is 74D - Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist. He received a $15,000 bonus and will also get his schooling paid for. He will essentially be getting paid to go to college! Great job Nick!
