Current Events and Conversations: Presented by Orange Public Library’s Adult Literacy Program (Ages 18+)

Practice your English skills by reading and discussing current events from the “News for You” weekly newspaper. Participants will read three news articles, learn new vocabulary words, write responses, and share ideas. Classes are for registered Adult Literacy Program participants only.

The Summer Reading Club is in full swing! Get new or struggling readers in the spirit of reading with our collection of Early Literacy Kits. Each kit covers different early literacy skills such as letter recognition, three letter words, letter combinations and word families.

Early Literacy Kits are located at the Orange Public Library & History Center Children's Desk, El Modena Branch Library, and Taft Branch Library. Please call the Children’s Reference Desk at (714) 288-2420 for more information about the kits or for help placing kits on hold.
