Before you blame low supply watch this video. Clinical low supply is real, not everyone has it. Two thing can be true at one time. If you are latching make sure your baby is doing their part and effectively moving milk. If you are pumping make sure you have a pump that works well for your body, properly fit flanges, and consistency in removal. Breastfeeding is a journey between two people meaning you may not be the problem. It’s not the formula, it’s the predatory marketing. Formula companies use fear and other predatory marketing tactics to convince vulnerable parents that their products are needed. Does formula provide nutrition and save lives? Yes Is formula a feeding alternative for babies? Yes Does every journey have to include formula? No Don’t be convinced you can’t, get the support so that you can.
You trusted your body to create a whole human, now trust your body to feed what it created. Seeking support isn’t failure it’s trusting someone to help guide you through the process.
