Not gunna lie, J.T. and Ja'lil felt pretty silly practicing the lightsaber duel with foam T-ball bats. But after seeing what it became in the final edit, it just serves as a reminder to not give a s**t what you think you look like while you’re figuring out how to be a badass. Practice is practice. Trust the process and know you’ll be force pushing Sith apprentices into submission in no time. Also, dope sound design really, REALLY helps 🤣🤣🤣

This real is a dedication to someone who gets overlooked in the Star Wars world. Katie Lucas. Katie wrote some of Clone War’s most iconic, memorable episodes - episodes that took the story in such a strong, mature direction, - WHILE SHE WAS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL! In addition, she later collaborated with author Christie Golden to write the book “Dark Disciple” which was based off of unproduced episodes of the show that were scrapped when Cartoon Network cancelled the show. That book completes the incredible story of Cline Wars beautifully and ties in strongly to the film story at large. She did all of this before she was legally allowed to drink. Absolutely incredible.
