Sometimes all it takes for me, is the word pizza, and I am on board. Presenting this easy cabbage pizza recipe.
Start by washing a medium head of cabbage and slice into 6 even slices just under 1” thick.
Depending how soft you want your cabbage, lightly coat both sides with a little bit of olive oil, and bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Or you can skip that step and coat the top only with olive oil, your fave Italian seasonings, garlic and Parmesan cheese and bake for 35 minutes at 350.
I tried the first method because I was worried the cabbage wouldn’t get soft enough. Next time I will try the second step.
From here the creativity is all up to you. I used chops meat sticks on a few, and did my favorite mixture of pineapple, onion, and veggies on some of the others. Or just plain cheese.
Don’t forget to add some oregano or Italian seasoning and/or basil if you wish.
Then finish baking for another 10 to 20 minutes according to your preference.
Honestly, I didn’t even miss the pizza dough.
That’s saying a lot for me!
