Cat Crew Rescue

Bibi is a neighborhood regular feral boy. He had been injured and had a large wound on his neck for at least seven months. It was a serious wound and many people called animal control and other organizationg to try and get him some help; however, with no success. Bibi kept evading all their efforts. Somehow Bibi survived the winter in poor health and with the open festering wound. We posted about his injury when we first trapped him. You can see his pictures by scrolling back through our page. Our wonderful trappers set out to help Bibi once we got word about this boy in need. We were successful, and got him the care he needed. Bibi's wound was worse than anyone thought. He needed 19 sutures to close it after it was cleaned and debried. He also had other deep wounds on his body that required stitches as well. All in all Bibi had four surgeries while he was with us. Each visit required Bibi to be sedated, the wound cleaned and new stitches put in place. Each time requiring fewer stitches to keep in closed. We kept Bibi inside with us in foster care until all his wounds healed and our vet gave him a clean bill of health. It took several months and several visits to the vet to have the wound attended to. We also had Bibi neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped and microchiped. We hoped Bibi would like living inside, but this veteran feral boy was eager to return to his commuity. And so Bibi was released. Bibi has so many friends who look out for him, feed him and were eager to see him again. Wishing Bibi a safe and wonderful life, and if Bibi ever decides to give up his feral ways, we are always here to find him a safe, forever indoor home! Happy life Bibi!
