🐾 Meet Cheyanne 🐾

Cheyanne is just a young pup who found herself in an unimaginable situation.

We were told she killed a chicken—most likely because she was starving. Instead of being shown compassion, she was locked in a tiny outdoor kennel for three days as punishment and was scheduled to be shot today.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted woman in Gadsden heard about her situation and shared her story. There was no way we could stand by and let this sweet girl lose her life simply because she was hungry.

💙 New Hope Rescue stepped in.

A huge thank you to Carol, who drove all the way from Gadsden, AL, to Macon County, AL, to rescue Cheyanne. She safely brought her back to Gadsden for the night and will be transporting her to our veterinarian in Dadeville tomorrow.

Cheyanne is under a year old. She’s incredibly sweet, just a little scared at first—which is understandable after everything she’s been through. Once she realizes she’s safe, she warms up quickly and just wants love.

Tomorrow she’ll receive a complete veterinary workup, including:
🐾 Full exam
🐾 Vaccines
🐾 Heartworm test
🐾 F***l exam
🐾 Rabies vaccine
🐾 Microchip

We’ll also get her scheduled for her spay while she’s staying at the clinic.

🏡 Foster Needed

We would love to get Cheyanne into a foster home for a few weeks so she can decompress, feel safe, and let her true personality shine. This will also help us learn more about her so we can find the perfect forever home.
