{May 26, 2026 4 AM} Record to near-record highs from 83 to 93 degrees are forecast today alongside a risk for severe afternoon storms. Cooler, mostly sunny weather arrives Wednesday through Friday, with highs settling back into the 70s and 80s.

{May 26, 2026 4 AM} Scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected between 2 PM and 11 PM today, with the greatest severe risk from 4 PM to 9 PM, particularly across central and east-central Wisconsin. Primary hazards include lightning, localized downpours, strong winds, and large hail.
