Garage Gym Oneida
🔒 Small details lead to big lifts.
Emily Ball is putting the hook grip to work on her deadlifts, a simple technique that can make a huge difference when the weight gets heavy.
The hook grip helps create a more secure connection to the bar, reduces grip failure, and allows you to stay balanced with both hands in the same position instead of relying on a mixed grip. It may be uncomfortable at first, but with practice, it becomes one of the best tools for building confidence and strength under the bar.
Master the fundamentals, trust the process, and the PRs will follow. 💪

Coach Brice held it down at the Garage Gym booth during Sorbello’s 2nd Annual Car & Bike Show this past Saturday! 💪🚗🏍️
From cheering people on in the Push-Up Challenge to talking fitness with members of the community, it was a great day representing Garage Gym.
A huge thank you to for hosting another fantastic event and to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello, test their push-up endurance, and support local businesses.
We appreciate all of you and can’t wait for the next community event!
A fun little challenge Coach Wes found online… and of course we had to give it a try. 😅💪
It led to plenty of laughs, some friendly competition, and the kind of camaraderie that makes Garage Gym special.
Not every day has to be about lifting heavier or moving faster. Sometimes it’s about trying something new, having fun, and challenging yourself alongside your training partners.
Now it’s your turn… give it a try and let us know how you do! 👊
