When a building reaches its full height in Germany, the construction team celebrates with a Richtfest — a topping out ceremony honoring the crew and wishing good fortune on the finished structure. A decorated tree is hoisted atop the building to mark the moment.

Last week, the tradition came to Omaha. With the roof now on our new Research and Development Center, CLAAS employees gathered with their construction partners Slate Architecture and Ironhide Construction.

Nebraska isn’t just where we operate. It’s where we’re growing. Last week, Governor Jim Pillen signed two bills into law at our Omaha headquarters. This legislation supports apprenticeship programs and long-term business investment in the state. We’re proud to continue growing in Nebraska!
