Mercedes-AMG is developing a new high-tech, electrified V-8 engine as the natural successor to the M178, set to debut on the AMG.EA platform. While exact specs are still under wraps, AMG suggests this engine will exceed the 720 hp output of the GT Black Series, deliver sharper throttle response, and meet upcoming Euro 7 efficiency standards.
