In the latest episode of Pioneers in Payments, our host Donna Blum sat down with Caroline Serejo Cypriano, Co-Founder and COO of JJ4Tech and 2026 Nacha 15 Under 40 honoree, to explore that question and much more.

Caroline brings a rare combination of legal expertise, regulatory leadership, and deep technical knowledge of real-time payments, including hands-on experience with Brazil's PIX system that she is now applying to FedNow adoption in the U.S.

👉 The shift to agentic commerce is already underway. AI-powered agents acting as autonomous transactors could represent a $3–5 trillion market by 2030. "Buy for Me" frameworks, identity defense, and always-on treasury are moving from concept to reality faster than most institutions are prepared for.

👉 Real-time rails are creating real commercial opportunity. FedNow and RTP growth is accelerating, and financial institutions that move now stand to increase customer retention, prevent deposit outflows, and unlock new revenue through cross-selling and enhanced user experience.

👉 But the challenge is real. Compliance, fraud prevention, and liquidity management must now operate in real time, placing significant pressure on legacy infrastructure not built for instant processing.

👉 And Caroline's single most important piece of advice? Treat transaction data as a product, not a by-product. The institutions that turn payment intelligence into predictive insight will be the ones that lead.
