Student Leader of the Month - March Nominations
In order to recognize deserving student leaders, the Student Organizations and Leadership Programs office sponsors the Student Leader of the Month Award. If there is a student that you know of that you think would be a candidate for Student Leader of the Month, we would love to have you nominate them for this award. In order to nominate a student, follow this link http://studentorgs.unomaha.edu/forms/leader_of_the_month.phpto fill out the nomination form.
We will select one student a month at our staff meeting. The student will be presented with a certificate and a letter in a setting befitting their honor such as a club meeting or in class. Nominations will be held over for three months if we receive multiple nominations per month, to be considered again. You will be notified if your nominee is selected and we will set up the best time to present the award.

Student Government Elections & Involvement Opportunity!
Interested in joining an organization that helps initiate change on campus? Want to meet with administration and discuss ways to impact the UNO community? Then you should consider Student Government. Student Government isn't just about resolutions and Robert's Rules of Order; students learn valuable skills they can't learn in the classroom, like project management skills, leadership skills, and crisis management skills. If you know someone who would be a great leader on campus, encourage them to seek out Student Government.
Applications are available on our website now (sguno.unomaha.edu/elections.php) but will close on Wednesday, February 13, at 11:59 p.m. Also, don't forget to vote for your college and class representative on Tuesday, March 5. Ballots will be available in many ways (polling places on campus, our website, and via an email link). Join Student Government, and let your voice be heard.
