Happy Pride Month from the Next Chapter! This month we have lots of book clubs planned! The Next Chapter is excited to announce the Story Continues Book Box Subscription! 📚We are excited to offer our customers, near and far, a book box for readers’ like you. There are two options: the Storyteller’s Box and the Swoonworthy Stories Box (details below and on the images). Each box will come with a new book and some form of bookish merch, such as a bookmark and sticker. These boxes are a great way to support your local, indie bookstore while also giving the gift of books to yourself or to someone for a birthday, anniversary, or holiday. Your book can be delivered to your door or picked up at The Next Chapter!

📖 The Storyteller’s Box is all about discovering the newest books. All books in this box will be hardcovers, and the genre will vary monthly. Our goal will be to provide you popular titles while also introducing you to books you may not have picked out yourself.

💕 The Swoonworthy Stories box is all about romance. At the Next Chapter, we love love and all things romance. This box will feature paperback romance books with a variety of tropes, themes, spice levels, time periods, genders, identities, and more.

Happy Memorial Day weekend! We hope you get to take a moment to honor those who served, soak in some sun, spend time with friends and family, and read a good book! ☀️📚 This weekend always feels like the unofficial start of summer, so the Next Chapter team wanted to share our favorite beach reads and a few books that we are looking forward to; first up – Shelly’s recommendations.

FAVORITE: Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson is one of Shelly’s all-time-favorite books. It is beautifully written and a wonderful adventure story! 🏝️
LOOKING FORWARD TO: The Midnight Train by Matt Haig releases this coming Tuesday, May 26th, and Shelly can’t wait to read it! Fans will remember the Midnight Library, and The Midnight Train is set in the same conceptual world but isn’t a sequel. 🚈
