For SOF veterans, by SOF veterans
We’re very appreciative when participants go through our programming and see value in it. We exist to help SOF combat veterans find a sense of community, camaraderie, and hopefully some moments of peace through the game of golf.
While we curate a premium and immersive golf experience for our SOF participants, the true form and function of our foundation is the Alumni Network.
All participants from all our programs are entered into the same Alumni Network. At Better Back Nine, we spend considerable resources on the post-event building of the alumni community. We want our alumni to share in the camaraderie we’ve built together for a long time, hopefully for the rest of their lives.

Golf is more than just a game to us - it is a real connector. It connects us to each other and to the beauty of nature. When we gather a group of SOF veterans for a round of golf, we build a real, lasting sense of community.
2025 was a great year and we are very much looking ahead to what 2026 has in store for us. We are going to continue doing what got us here, and be grateful for the momentum we have achieved. We are going to continue building camaraderie and community amongst SOF veterans, and have a lot of fun in the process!

As the year comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the generosity that makes our work possible.
This past year brought meaningful growth, new connections, and moments of camaraderie that continue to strengthen our SOF community. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors and the hope shared throughout the veteran community.

Our annual Charity Golf Tournament kicked off 9/11 Memorial weekend with our Patriot Banquet. The evening featured spirited bidding, live and silent auctions, and powerful remarks from the Better Back Nine team that set the tone for the mission and purpose behind the tournament day ahead.

Another unforgettable day in Omaha at our 2nd Annual Better Back Nine Charity Golf Tournament. This tournament is more than a day on the course; it plays a huge part in funding our year-round programs for the SOF veteran community.
On the 24th anniversary weekend of 9/11, over 80 individuals came together to honor, remember, and give back.
