Engineered Controls is proud to have been selected to provide the building management system for a new hotel to be built at Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln, NE.
The six-story, 153-room hotel will be a Marriott Tribute property, which is an independent boutique hotel designed to attract a certain clientele of guests. Plans are to build the $31 million hotel first. Construction started early this year, with a target opening of June 2021. The hotel project marks the next step in the evolution of Innovation Campus. Most research parks across the country have a hotel on their campuses.
In addition to the guest rooms, the hotel will have a full-service restaurant, coffee shop, gym and other amenities. Also proposed for Innovation Campus is a new 80-000 square feet office building. Although the construction timeline is not set, the new office building has a proposed budget of $16 million.
