We stand with our colleagues across the country and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs in raising concerns about the administration's plan to move the Office for Civil Rights out of the Department of Education.
Protecting students means strengthening the systems that safeguard their rights, not weakening them.
Dismantling the Department of Education and weakening the Office for Civil Rights doesn't make Jewish students safer — it leaves all students more vulnerable to discrimination and undermines key civil rights protections.

Thank you to Jack’s Coffee Group for welcoming JCRC Assistant Director Pam Monsky to your weekly gathering at the Marriott Regency. We appreciated the opportunity to share information about Jewish culture, traditions, and community life.
At JCRC, we believe education and constructive dialogue are powerful tools for combating antisemitism, reducing prejudice, and building stronger communities.
We are grateful to groups like Jack’s Coffee Group that create space for thoughtful discussion and greater understanding.
If your organization, workplace, school, or community group would be interested in hosting a speaker, we would be happy to connect and share more about JCRC’s educational outreach programs.
