Internet is down, sort of.

Here’s the gist : Cloudflare is experiencing a DNS outage right now and it appears to be global.

You still have internet technically. Your devices just don’t know how to find websites right now.
When you type in Facebook.com, your device has to look up in a dynamic address book (Dynamic Name Server) to learn the IP address of where that website is at. Right now, that book is gone.

Roughly 35% of the internet depends on Cloudflare. We are working to reduce our dependency on Cloudflare’s DNS, albeit it has been incredibly reliable and fast for the many years we’ve been using them.es
