Organizing meds is an important part of keeping a family organized! There are multiple categories, types, and frequency of use. Categorize into as many unique categories as you can, depending on the space you have. For example, you may have enough space - and need - for a bin for both "cough & cold" and "sinus & allergy". Or, you may have a limited amount of meds on hand, so you just need a category called "pain, cold, and stomach".
Take out all your meds and toss expired items, then categorize by type. Once you assess how many of each type, plus the amount of room you have in the cabinet you're storing them in, you can then determine how to categorize and contain.
