Happy 3rd Birthday to the second litter! š Anytime I look at the pictures of them when they were little it just makes me miss their little faces and reminds me how easy it was for me to tell who was who š„ŗ At 3 years old is when I noticed Bear and Maple calming down more, of course still full of energy and loving to play but not acting like puppies as much. On the other hand Minnie is completely different, she is sooooo full of energy. She can tire herself out and still keep wanting to go until I have to get her to calm down. Not sure if any of the puppies from either litter do this but she actually takes pretty good care of her toys, one thing her parents donāt do at all. As soon as they get a toy maybe theyāll hold on to it for a little bit but eventually theyāll rip them up. Minnie will of course rip up toys but she sometimes likes to make different ones her favorite toys (currently she only has two) that sheāll carry everywhere with her and if she leaves it somewhere she always knows where itās at and will come back or will even go as far as hiding them when sheās playing so no one takes them. Itās funny to see how similar yet different she is compared to her parents. Anyways, everybody is doing good, I figured Iād include some pictures of Bear and Minnie since I always joke that he gets grumpy with her but Minnie has gotten better at respecting his boundaries and they get along great. š¤
Hope everyone else is doing good, make sure to give lots of belly rubs and Happy Birthday again to the second litter or the 4-27=23 litter šš

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone! š
This year I was able to get some pictures of the dogs around the tree, I did want to try to get a group photo, but someone was being a little difficult and refused to sit. (You can tell by her photos, Maple) š
I did mean to do an update around Halloween, but I was struggling a little bit to decide on what to do for their costumes this year and then when I did figure it out, Mapleās costume came in a little bit later than I wouldāve liked since I had to adjust it since itās actually a maple leaf costume for a human. The matching toys I bought for them prior to Halloween made the costumes even better. Bear got to be dressed up as a teddy bear and Minnie became Minnie mouse. Surprisingly Minnie did really well this time and didnāt mind the costume. I canāt help to wonder if itās because last winter she found her love of sweaters and coats when she realized that they would help keep her warm. Now I have to try and convince her and her parents to like snow shoes since sometimes their paws get cold.
Besides that everyone is doing good and healthy, Minnie became the first one out of all of the dogs to catch an adult rabbit, sheās very. She also has basically became best friends with our husky since even though our husky is 10yrs old she still has a lot of energy vs Bear and Maple who sometimes just like to be grumpy towards her when they arenāt in the mood to play. Bear and Maple would rather dig instead of chasing her around, because of this and their age I have put them on Cosequin vitamins (Costco occasionally has sales on them) which Minnie also gets since she feels left out if she doesnāt get any. And they all have found their love of the dog treats that look like Oreos (three dog bakery brand) which they prefer to eat over any type of meat treat I give them.
I hope everyone is doing well and healthy and has a great start to the new year! š¤

First lemme say, Happy Birthday to the first litter! 4 years ago they were born and definitely changed everyoneās life! šToday when going back through all the pictures from 4 years ago, I realized Iāve posted a lot of the puppies from since they were first born to leaving our house but not a lot of their parents. So I figured Iād throw in a picture some pictures, the first one Maple was actually pregnant and we didnāt know at first but had suspicion when she started getting bigger and then we took her to the vet and they confirmed it (2nd picture) I think Bear and Maple knew before we did, they were always close. But Maple besides wanting to lay down most of the time wanted to be near Bear until she got closer to when she was going to give birth then she started ānestingā and we knew it was time for her to get her own space. But itās funny because Bear was actually the one who let us know when she started giving birth, (I wondered because she was acting weird) but he heard the puppies and started howling around 3 in the morning letting us know. I got up and Maple was already taking care of the first two that were born, from there 3 more came and then the other 4 and long story short thatās how those nine were born 4 years ago today! I really think that whole experience brought a lot more happiness into all our lives with all the craziness going on (not gonna lie though when they took the puppies in to the vets office and not let us in I got a little bit in Mom mode š that was the first time I was ever away from them) Iām not going to lie itās hard to make these posts every year, I miss their sister a lot and have even almost called Minnie her name.
But this is also my time to thank all of you for giving them a good life for another year! šš So yay Happy 4th Birthday to the first litter!

Since weāre two months into the year and 2 months closer until the second litter turns one I figured itās time to give an update and of course see how everyone else is doing! Last year towards the end of the year we actually all went down to Florida and got to visit the beach for the first time! I honestly think stopping and going to visit different campgrounds was probably more exciting to them than the actual beach, well at least to Maple and Bear. Bear loves water and baths but did not want to step into the ocean at all and Maple followed his example so they had more fun walking up and down boardwalks and exploring the parking lots instead šš Minnie was actually pretty brave, and decided to go in the water with her aunt Minion (husky) and was smart enough to not drink the ocean water unlike her aunt š (Bear and Maple also had no interest in drinking the ocean also, one smell and they were done) Coming back home we were greeted with a little bit of snow which was fun and then boom big storm! But hey at least I previously bought a coat for Minnie so she was ready for her first official snow! Unfortunately Minnie doesnāt yet understand the concept of a coat so she did try to rip it off her and left a big hole in some of the layers. š¤¦š»āāļø Welp turns out sheās actually big enough to fit Mapleās with a little left over space so while the snow was melting she got Mapleās coat and Maple got Bearās coat. (One thing I have to say is size up and take measurements when it comes to buying any clothing for them! A lot of clothing is made for small dogs and even if you think you have the right size because of their bulkiness or right now since Minnie is tall but skinny things just wonāt fit right or will be difficult when taking off my favorite items are the ones with the strap on the chest and stomach area since they make it a lot easier to put on and take off) I also bought them sweaters as soon as I saw them in stores so once it got cold theyād be warm when we went outside. Maple LOVED hers, Bear was happy but I think only mainly because it made me happy since he did somehow take it off himself without ruining it and well like I said Minnie doesnāt understand (as you can see from her face) until she goes outside and is cold and then I put the sweater on and then sheās happy. But hey sheās becoming more photogenic now (the most recent picture of her is with the food bag) and lets me trim her nails with no problems! (Usually Bear and Maple are able to shorten theirs with the walking we do outside but I just recently bought a pair since Minnieās were getting long) I did include a couple extra pictures because they were laying down cute in their kennels (well Bear was in Mapleās for his picture) and Maple and being a kind of bad influence on Minnie and showing her how to dig! š However she has learned to go and hide stuff outside in holes she digs and completely covers them so it works out for her that she had learned to do that! So yes weāre all doing pretty good, I think the only thing weāre struggling with is Minnie wanting to copy what the other ones want to do which is good and bad but sheās learning but still definitely has puppy brain and will still try and eat anything that looks interesting on the ground. Hope everyone else is doing well, in a couple months weāll have 1 year olds and the 1st litter will be 4 years old š„²ā¤ļø Time really flies!
