Our modern society is one of consumerism and more, more, more. Living beyond our means and then blaming others or the system for the struggles that result from that choice is an accepted way of life.

Don't fall for the trap of always wanting more, never being grateful for what you have, and avoiding accountability for how you feel.

We can never win if the goal is always to have more.

Today's society is overflowing with conflicts of all kind, violent, passive, and passive-aggressive. Repeated conflict creates a cycle of crisis followed by crisis.
Life can turn into going from one "emergency" to another, and when that happens we're rarely acting with positive intention.

I practice taking the time to self-evaluate my responses throughout the day, every day.
It helps me bring positive intention to my life and helps me model that behavior for my circle of influence.
