The Blue Bucket Project

Longer post alert: Sometimes it is difficult choosing the locations we feel need the most attention and will have good community engagement. There are quite a few. Right now, we could concentrate on downtown, due to the upcoming CWS. Many volunteer orgs have been encouraged to donate time helping before, during and after, picking up litter and trash. Then, we thought about the periphery. Those areas need attention as well. And then, what about a "StashYourTrash" campaign to help people realize that it is up to all of us to stop creating litter. And then......happened to go past Walnut Hill Elementary School at about 43rd and Hamilton St. Summer school in session. Our next Flash Trash Mob will be there. Unfortunately, there is also a developing encampment area along the Beltline Trailhead area close-by. Watch for our event on FB. our website and instagram.
