True Kiwi Verité!! from Jeremy: “I‘d been trying to write a song about the Detroit - Windsor border for a couple of years; American kids crossing the bridge to the Canadian bars because the drinking age is two years lower. Once we had the studio dates in Detroit booked to record the album, it became really important for us to finish writing the song, because it was too topical to miss. Some friends from Michigan helped get the details in the lyrics right.
