- Communications and Development Manager. This is a senior staff position with lots of opportunity for advancement.

Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director (ED), the Communications and Development Manager will spearhead development and communication efforts as Capital Recovery Center Nonprofit continues to grow. A new position in the organization, the Manager will have the opportunity to build the development functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Manage the company’s or organization’s social media communications. ● Create and produce internal newsletters for the organization.
● Write, edit and distribute various types of content, including material for a website, press releases, marketing material and other types of content that take the message to the public.
● Prepare and manage the organization’s communication budget.
● Develop and execute CRC’s annual fundraising plan.
● Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations. ● Manage the implementation of Little Green Light and oversee staff responsible for data entry and gift processing.
● Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors.
● Creating and executing a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors ● Overseeing organization of special events.
● Developing and tracking proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising.
● Grant writing and editing as needed.
● Maintaining DUNS and NPI and sam.gov membership.
Skills and Qualifications
● Good oral and written communication skills.

● Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
● Good networking skills.
● Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
● Attention to detail.
● Grant writing experience.
● Knowledge of the Associated Press style guide
● Two-plus years experience in development and/or nonprofit administration at plus. Benefits include
