•Listening is not a side task — it’s the main job. Scheduling time to truly listen signals respect, not interruption.
•Every conversation is a leadership moment. Even the quick hallway check-in can either build trust or erode it.
•Discomfort is where better leadership lives. The most important listening often happens when it would be easier to avoid the conversation.
