Olean Masonic Temple

Enchanted Mountains Lodge and Hamilton Court #2, Order of the Amaranth are now meeting on the 4th floor. Lodge on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, Court on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays - come up and visit!

It has been announced that meetings for Olean Court #19, Order of the Amaranth have moved to the Portville Masonic Temple for meetings for the winter months. This will begin November 6, 2012.

Bro. Claudius Van Buren Barse was nominated and elected to the State Legislature in 1868. He was the founder of the State Bank of Olean in 1870, which was changed in 1878 to the Exchange National Bank.

He was also the first canal inspector at Olean in 1857.
