Morning showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue through mid-morning before conditions dry out for the rest of today. A warm front will exist right across the area today with locations north of the warm front only reaching the upper 50s to mid 60s while south of the warm front will reach the upper 60s to upper 70s. Storms are then expected to move back into the area tonight. These storms will have the chance to be severe with damaging winds and large hail being the main threats however, an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. In addition to the severe weather, heavy rainfall will be possible with 1 to locally 3 inches of rain expected. This may lead to localized flash flooding and minor river flooding.
