Mike Storm for State Representative

The last several months have been quite the journey. I learned a lot and made many friends along the way. Although this campaign did not end up the way we had hoped, I know my team and I gave everything we had to demonstrate a positive and forward-thinking vision for Johnson County.

I want to congratulate Shirley Allenbrand on her successful reelection. Commissioner Allenbrand and I disagree on many policy positions, but she does have a servant’s heart and cares about the future of Johnson County. In her second term, I encourage Commissioner Allenbrand to reach out and listen to the residents who voted for a change in direction to ensure their voices are heard too.

Johnson County has a lot of potential, and we cannot give up simply because we are unsuccessful in one election. I urge my supporters to stay involved and to continue seeking to bring about positive changes that increase transparency, preserve the preexisting character of our community, and make county government more efficient.

I know I plan to stay involved and active in local politics because it's the right thing to do as a productive and informed citizen. Let’s continue working together for the change Johnson County needs!
