At only 11 years old, she was attacked and on her deathbed. But her love for Jesus was bigger than what she endured. When asked if she forgave her attacker in her final moments of life, St. Maria Goretti responded, "yes, for the love of Jesus, I forgive him. I want him to be with me in paradise."
