Holiday Caroling this Friday 4-6 downtown Ojai - Bring the kids! Madrigali will be in costume serenading the arcade area (mostly in the tunnel between Feros and Sam's) with Renaissance yuletide music. Madrigali has been in Ojai for over 35 years, and downtown caroling is one of our favorite traditions. If you miss us this Friday, we will also be at the Ojai Valley Inn near Jimmy's & The Oaks on Dec 5,12,19 from 6-8. Our official holiday concert is 12/6 at St Andrews.
(Side note, I likely won't be joining the performances after 12/6 due to upcoming knee surgery. 😕 So, come soon if you're able!)

The day that this was recorded last year, I was on a trip and had just landed in Santa Barbara that morning. I got in the car and sped over to LA there to be with these women, whom I love dearly. They had already started when I arrived and all looked amazing, since it was also a photoshoot as well as a recording session. When I walked in, everyone looked incredible and I was in my airplane sweats. Three women simultaneously started fussing over me: put a perfect dress of hers on me, transformed my face with only a little bit of makeup (she's a wizard) and adorned my neck with a beautiful necklace that was bittersweet for me to take off at the end of the day. I'll always remember how it felt that day to feel loved, cared for and part of a tribe of women singing for self expression and fun. ❤️
