Weber State String Project

There is still time to register your child/children for the WSU String Project. We are opening a new beginning class this semester in addition to the continuing classes, and are accepting students in all of them. We also have a great guitar class for those who aren't into the orchestral instruments. Our teachers are ready and all we need is your children to join us.

WSU String Project Special thanks to Ogden City Arts, the National String Project Consortium, Ogden School District, and Weber State University Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities for their continued support.

The WSU String Project needs to hire two new string teachers for our classes. Teachers must be WSU students and will be paid as hourly workers. Our classes begin on September 29 and run through the first week of December, and then start up again in January. The WSU String Project begins September 29 in the Browning Center at WSU. Classes meet twice a week on Monday and Wednesday afternoons beginning at 4:45. There will be an orientation on the 22nd in room 136 from 7:00-8:00. Students can meet their teachers and rent instruments if they need to.

We accept all children from grades 3-12, and have various levels of classes to accommodate all students. We also offer private lessons for the students who are enrolled in our classes.

Dress rehearsal tonight for our concert tomorrow. We are looking forward to working with the choir as we prepare Thompson's Frostiana. It's going to be a great concert. Come join us.
