Meet Hazel and her girl Chai! These two tortie sweeties are eagerly waiting their furever families!
Hazel is a 2 year old sweetiepie with a floofy tail and Chai is 3 months old, also a cutie! They do not need to be adopted together. Check out their profiles below:

It takes a village! Big thank you to AACSAVECats and Anne Arundel County Animal Services, who notified our team that these babies need immediate placement. These little ones are now with one of our fosters while they grow big and strong before adoption ❤️
While this situation had a happy ending, please be mindful of rescuing babies without mom (with mom is always best!), and PLEASE neuter/spay your furry family members!
SQUEEEEE!!!!!!!! What could possibly be better than newborn kittens?!?!?! Finding their mother first 😑
A SAVECat volunteer learned the hard way that grab and dash with kittens is usually not a good idea. She heard these three making noise under an abandoned car in the feeders yard and her protective instincts kicked in. She grabbed them, took them home, fed them and reached out to us for advice. 🚫
If you do see newborn kittens please take a deep breath and assess the situation.
1. Are they in a dangerous location? ie yard with a scary dog, in an engine that still operates, out in the open
2. Is it just one? Usually if a mom has abandoned them, it will not be the entire litter
3. What is their condition? Do they have any discharge from eyes? Do they look skinny?
4. Do you have the ability to leave them where they are and check back in a couple of hours to see if mom returns?
Moms truly do the best job raising kittens. Bottle fed kittens are at a higher risk of aspiration pneumonia or passing from fading kitten syndrome. If they appear healthy and safe, please leave them where they are. A trap should be set nearby so that you catch mom BEFORE disturbing the babies 💕
These little guys were lucky, had a bottle feeder able to care them. We wish them all the best!!!!!
