Today, we proudly celebrate one of our own, Class of 2025 alumnus Exio Duque, for being selected as the 2026 Florida Citrus Conference Baseball Defensive Player of the Year.

This recognition is historic, as Exio becomes the first player in Daytona State College history to earn this honor.

As coaches, we could not be more proud of the hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and commitment Exio has shown throughout his journey. Awards like this are never given. They are earned through countless hours of preparation, consistency, and dedication when nobody is watching.
