Did you notice? Our Maintain Our Parish ministry cleaned the St. Francis Hall parking lot and maintained the gardens. Join them the second Saturday of each month at 8 am.

Today, please welcome Fr. Fabio Turrisendo OFM Conv. and Fr. Matteo Martinelli PFM Conv as they bring the relics of St. Anthony of Padua to our Mission San Luis Rey Parish church today for veneration before and after all masses this weekend.

The veneration of sacred relics has a long history in our Church. It is a profession of belief in the truth of the resurrection, the sacredness of the body, and the intercessory power of our saints in heaven because of their intimate relationship with Christ.

May the intercession of St. Anthony of Padua bring you healing, joy, and blessing.

Hoy, por favor, den la bienvenida al Padre Fabio Turrisendo, OFM Conv., y al Padre Matteo Martinelli, OFM Conv., quienes traen las reliquias de San Antonio de Padua a nuestra iglesia parroquial de la Misión San Luis Rey para su veneración antes y después de todas las Misas de este fin de semana.

La veneración de las sagradas reliquias tiene una larga historia en nuestra Iglesia. Es una profesión de fe en la verdad de la resurrección, en la santidad del cuerpo y en el poder de intercesión de nuestros santos en el cielo, debido a su íntima relación con Cristo.

Que la intercesión de San Antonio de Padua les traiga sanación, alegría y bendición.
