Dear Tomorrow,
07/01/2026
July is the month that really took us from an oversized art project to a functioning community art house. Every year we grow and the space takes a new form. More people means more ideas, more workshops, more art, and less reasons to not live life in as much color as we can.
Everything is online and always keep an eye out for free classes that are dropped at random.
We hope you are having your most creative summer yet :)
So many quests to chose from!

Every room at dear has its own soul. Different materials and process’ artfully formed from stories.
Out of all of the 11 rooms in the historic home the Herb Room has the most stories to tell. A bench made out of an old 1970’s sailboat, beach rocks, & reclaimed fabrics beautifully crafted by Cedrus Custom Design A table made in house by limestone, beach sand, and natural pigments, and of course a wall that is covered with the seasonal blooms of flowers from the property that look better dried than forgotten.
This is the break room at Dear Tomorrow, for all of the members that make art from the space. Color Magic & herbal teas to get you in the right headstate to create.
Lately a few members have said there farewells to chase new adventures and opportunities. We are sad to see them go but excited for what creatives may fill the space. You can find out more on the membership page of the site.
In the meantime come enjoy the room before a workshop or during a larger gathering. We poured too much love into it for it not to be enjoyed. 🌟

We love a Community Call!!
We are very honored to be one of the Cultural Partners for City of San Diego Cultural Affairs for Round 2 of the San Diego Artist Incubator program, in which five local artists will learn from local cultural partners how to plan, pitch, produce, promote, and publicly present their work at five separate venues across the region - along with a $5,000 stipend.
Link in bio! Applications open till June 30th.
Thankful for this creative community and City of San Diego Cultural Affairs for making this all happen!

Our inner child always sings when tasha nikita comes to town with a box full of vintage magazines, scissors, glue sticks, and a passion for teaching others how to create new worlds from old pages.

THIS FRIDAY! JAZZ JAM!
No. There isn’t actual Jam (unless you bring a jar). There IS a 3 piece band that will be sure to make you move, curated list of natural wine pours, & a pasta pop up of handmade noodles. Plus the usual things that make dear so… Dear.
We’re also soft launching our communal gallery with over 30 local artists and pairing it with some stations to make crafts of your own.
Tickets are only 6$ if you buy them before the day of the event. $12 at the door.
I know we say this often but we mean it every time. You really won’t want to miss this one! 🕺🏼

Dinners are an invitation to express art both on and off the plate. Creating a surreal culinary world that is best paired with the kind conversation of strangers over a large table. We love our Welcome Home dinner series. An opportunity to highlight local chefs and let them work their magic in a place that feels locked in time. Always thankful when folks purchase tickets in the mutual belief of investing in a meal to be remembered or when brands like want to bring connection to the dinner table.
