Squeezed one last deck out for 2024. Natural IPE hardwood is such a classic look and will last a lifetime. Complete with 1x8 IPE fascia wrap, and IPE plugs for all the screws. Fun fact: at 3,680 on the Janka scale, this is one of the hardest woods on the planet.

As 2024 comes to an end, I’m happy with what Zipp Construction accomplished in our first full year. Looking forward to scaling up business in 2025 and providing quality craftsmanship around North County San Diego and beyond. Here are some completed projects lately. Brightened up this backyard with a redwood gate and redwood louvered pool cover. Also installed some Timbertech coastline steps to the up to the garden area.

Transforming backyards one deck at a time. Trex Transcend Toasted Sand with fascia wrap.

This backyard was begging for relief from the August heat in Escondido. We installed this classic lattice patio cover to turn the temperature down yet still allows for some light to flow through. It was a perfect fit for the space. ☀️

There’s something about a classic redwood cover with metal roof is both rustic and elegant. It was a great option for this Carlsbad home. This 35 foot cover transformed the backyard just in time for the hot summer

Finished up a complete rebuild of the main entrance to this Escondido house. This red mangaris hardwood is beautiful and rich in color. Extremely durable and makes a statement from the curb.

Imagine walking out into your backyard and having 840 square feet of new living space. Zipp Construction can turn that dream into reality. This ground level Trex Enhanced Rocky Harbor deck gives many new options for outdoor living. With a large patio cover for some shaded areas this transformed the backyard.

Proud to show off this beautiful new deck built in Poway. It radically transformed the backyard living space. This was completed with Timbertech Vintage Coastline decking and Timbertech Classic Composite Railing. Sleek, modern cable rails and an aluminum framed spiral staircase. Class A fire rated decking makes it an excellent choice in California. These homeowners are ready for summer days and many years peace and comfort out on their new deck.

Spiral staircases are a great way to get up and down in a limited space that traditional stairs can’t accommodate. Plus, they look pretty damn cool. This project was built with powder coated aluminum framing and Timbertech Coastline treads to match the new deck.
