Can we all agree not to work today? I think few of us would dispute that moms are some of the hardest workers on earth, so in honor of Mother’s Day, let’s all take a well deserved break. I’ll go first: I am NOT cooking today. How will you take it easy today?

What do you do when you finally reach the end of a reeeeally long day? As for me, I look no further than my comfy PJ’s and my cup of relaxing tea. If I can, there’s take-out involved. How do you wash off the stress of a challenging day?

Raise your hand if your dreams have ALWAYS ended up the way you envisioned. Anyone? Yeah, me neither. But that’s all right with me, because I never would have dreamt that I’d meet my husband by just striking up a conversation about movies. It made me realize that I should never underestimate the power of conversation over movies. What unexpected dreams have you experienced?

It must be the luck o’ the Irish that this year St. Patty’s falls on a Friday! This means I get to go to the pub and enjoy corn beef sandwich with ( the only time I might have a beer)! When I was a kid, I dreamt of being a unicorn, and why not, really? Can you name a more magical creature? When I think of it now, it makes a ton of sense to me, because when I didn’t grow up to become a unicorn, I DID turn into a hairstylist, which involves basic magic on a daily basis. Did you ever want an extra legs or magical powers when you were young? What did you want to be?
