Scammers are extra busy this time of year. They may pretend to be from Medicare or an insurance company to try to steal your personal information — or even enroll you in a plan without your knowledge.

Remember, legitimate agents and brokers who represent Medicare plans need your permission before contacting you. If you get an unsolicited call, just hang up. Uninvited emails or texts? You can ignore those, too.

Crush Fraud
If you suspect Medicare fraud, report it immediately to Medicare at 1-800-MEDICARE or visit Medicare.gov/fraud. And as always, never give your Medicare Number, Social Security number, or financial information to anyone you don't know.

Medicare.gov/plan-compare is your official source to find the type of coverage that fits you best during Medicare Open Enrollment.

News flash: Medicare has always required prior authorization for certain procedures. Don't panic. It is for your protection.

Medicare Will Require Prior Approval for Certain Procedures A pilot program in six states will use a tactic employed by private insurers that has been heavily criticized for delaying and denying medical care.

I am looking for a LICENSED Marketplace agent to help with the upcoming annual enrollment period. Experienced is great, but training is available for the right person. You MUST be certified for the new season, and training is happening now, so time is of the essence. If you are looking to work the AEP Season with the opportunity to earn additional dollars servicing our business and building yours with leads and referrals from an established business, you might be someone who would be a good fit. There is also a great opportunity for cross sell ancillary products such as hospital indemnity, cancer, dental and vision plans.
We are a Local Florida Blue agency, and only write Florida Blue plans in the Marketplace. We are independent for other lines of business such as Life Insurance & Employee Benefit Plans.
